12:06PM - Help me out please?

I may be going back to school. I'm considering it quite a bit but I need to do more research. Currently I'm thinking of attending the Art Institute of Chicago to earn my Bachelors degree, or possibly Northern Illinois University. Either way, I'm going to develope my art and take it further. And yes, these are out of state school (the closest A.I. to me is in Washington D.C. and I prefer not to live in a place where the potential of muggings is high. That and their roads are a bitch to navigate.)

So in lieu of me, attending a school I am going through my things, taking out old art and stuff I'll never use. (Except art supplies, I'll more than likely will need them still) So, I'm going to sell much of my manga, some anime DVDs, and How to Draw Manga books. If not there may be a yard sale going or I'm going to have to take the loss and give it away. The funds made from these will help me obtaining a plane ticket for when I go to visit the colleges and see about my best route to take.

12:05PM - No art yet

No new art will be posted for a while. My scanner does not run with the Vista OS on the new computer. I have to buy a new one once I paid the CPU off. Luckily I already paid off the cost of the monitor.

Also, my brother and his wife's two dogs have run off this morning. -_- They let them out into the backyard to run around and do their business and some douche opened their gate.

I have a feeling I know who might've done it because they don't have a mature, responsible bone in their body and their mother is nothing more than a giant fleshy, doormat. (I deal with them at work, and really don't like interacting with them because they're that horrible.)

So here's hoping that they'll be found safe and unhurt.

2:08PM - Where there is death, comes life

So, I have now ordered a new CPU and monitor. Well, dad ordered it because I can't afford it right now.

I'm getting a Gateway CPU, that comes with keyboard, mouse, and speakers. 6G of RAM and 640GB hard drive. Along with it is a Samsung 20" monitor that has a nice picture.

So sometime within the week hopefully I shall have my own PC back and have to re-download MSN and AIM messengers.

The sad thing is is that none of my computer games will play on it since the OS is Windows Vista. -_- Ah well.

9:07PM - Thus begins the funeral dirge

On April 29th of 2009 at around 9:00 pm, Jennifer's Dell PC 'Daisuke' passed away. Daisuke was a wonderful computer, summoning mass amounts of beautiful pictures and wonderful music; and for a short while high speed internet that kept his owner even more amused.

After New Year's, Daisuke began to show problems. Viruses, Malware, and the oh-so-evil Trojans thought of him as 'tasty' and began to nom on his poor systems. His owner bravely defended her dear companion with the Geek Squad, Norton, and rather indecent langauge to back her up. Daisuke was soon free of the viruses and oh-so-evil trojans.

However, the attacks coupled with his age was too much. Under the strain of Norton's nitpicking and prodding of a full system scan, Daisuke's hard drive failed.

All the wonderful things he stored for his owner was lost. His owner was in a mix of frustration, sadness, and extreme rage that made her scream such foul words that only someone from the Czech Republic would understand.

And so we bid Daisuke a tearful farewell. We will always remember him.

So basic gist is, my computer's hard drive died to the point that Geek Squad can't recover the data. A new hard drive, along with labor and installation would cost me almost 300 dollars to fix. Since it's that much I just decided to end it and just get a new one. Dad says that once I find one I like he'll put it on charge and I can just pay them back for it monthly. Considering that I am lowly retail worker barely making above the new minimum wage that's probably the best way to go. I have no idea when I will be back online again, unless my parents allow me access to their computer or dad's laptop which is what I'm on now.

Brother's wedding is next Saturday, hopefully it'll go well and won't rain.

People better stay away from my peanut butter cookies. -_-

10:20PM - Snow Days~!

Well, all the Virginians who wanted snow we got it. My brother's fiance measured it at 11 inches. The power went out at the house so no lights or heat, but my brother came and get mom, myself, and our lab Raven.

Trees and limbs were down everywhere, and the powerlines were either down or very low. A lot of people had driven into the ditch but they were okay.

Work lost power Monday, so I didn't have to work. Dad got the small generator working so the fireplace could come on, so mom and dad went home while I spent the night at Gordy's, since his house had power still.

I watched him play SOCOM: Navy Seals and acted like his second eyes for the opposing team. Than we tried to play Mario 3 but the Nintendo had a moment during the second level while I was playing as Luigi.

Went to bed around 10:30 on their couch, and one of their huskies, Cocoa, decided to jump on me for a few moments. Woke up at 8:30. Ate breakfast and watched my brother play SOCOM again, GOrdy said that I could use Nikki's computer.

...

Damn I miss DSL... But I got to watch episodes 1 - 5 of Keroro Gunsou. X3 Gordy asked about it, but he didn't make fun of it like my dad would have.

Now I'm home. X3 At least I can sleep in my own bed tonight.

And once again my day off from work is ruined because Lacy's kid is sick. Again. THis is what? Sixth or seventh time? -_- So Lacy, despite having a horde of family members living in her house, needs to take off to watch her son. It's only five hours, surely her mother or sister could watch him for five hours. *eye twitches* I'm seriously getting sick of this shit. Whenever she can't come in, it's always me who has to come in and deal with it.

Kathy better stay on register tonight, I might rip someone's larynx out... -_-*

Just let you know I'm still alive. Like anyone really cares. Hasn't been a good weekend for me, and I'm having urges to either punch something or go out into the woods and scream. Don't worry, I'll get over this eventually.

10:53AM - Wee!

Yesterday I ordered a tablet. It's a Deleter XP-Pen and tablet that comes with trial versions of ComicWorks and CG Illustrator.

So let's see how this goes. ^^;

Oh, I'm at Mt. Coronet in Diamond, where Diaruga is awakened. I'm holding back because I want to see if I can get two more Master Balls, seeing as the game has two runners, Mesprit and Cresselia.

9:49AM - O.o

Yesterday I heard a car come up and doors slam. I look out the window to see people wandering around. I freaked out a little, espiecially when they came to the front door.

Apparantly the realtor was showing off the house and no one told me. Mom says she called, but I'd hear my cell phone if it was going off. -_- Oy vey.

In other news, the Diamond game is going good. I started out with Turtwig who I named Daichi. Currently he's level 8, my other three include a Bidoof named Maria (After the Castlevania character), a Starly named Harpuia, and a Shinx named Zero. And my trainer, Kayou, is dealing with the 'Aidan-syndrome', as majority of her team is male. ^^;

3:47PM - Oh shit.

Watching the news right now, a shooting occured at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. Started in the morning at one of the dorms and than two hours later across campus to an engineering building. They're still unsure how many have passed it's either 22 or 32 including the shooter.

Just... damn... I can't say anything except I feel for the victims families. I hope the students and teachers will be okay...

2:58PM - Yay?

Well, today is my birthday, I'm now 22.

Since mom and dad are moving to a new house and my room is a bit smaller, I have to go through my stuff and see what I can sell, pack up (That I won't find myself yearning for later on), or keep out for display.

It... sucks.

So tonight for my present, I'm going out to eat. Yay! Because I never get much of a chance to eat at Texas Roadhouse since I work evenings, so this'll be nice. ^^;

9:50PM - WTF?!

If you had read some journal entries back, either here or on my DA journal; my parents are moving and are building the house. The house has an attached garage and a really nice kitchen, however, the bedroom my parents want to give me is in the back in a corner, 11'6 x 11'0.

That is not a bedroom. That's a prison cell. -_-

My bed is probably the only thing that'll fit in it. My desk and computer, not to mention my dresser, they will not fit at all.

I want the bonus room. It's bigger and out of the way.

Must talk to parents about that. >.>
